The lanai was the perfect place to have coffee in the morning and unwind in the evening. We enjoyed watching all the surf and boogie boarders, and we even saw the sea turtles. And you were right again; the Beach House restaurant next door was wonderful. FYI: A portion of Poipu Beach was blocked off because a seal decided to use the beach to have her pup. It drew in many people for pictures. We did find the beach at the end of Poipu Road, thru the grove farm and across the dirt road. What a beautiful place. Of course we ventured in many directions around the island and always found awe inspiring views. Thanks for trusting people to rent your beautiful place. Well, we are home from Kauai and back into the 'working mode'. As of today, Christmas is over and things can settle back down to handle routine tasks.
We had such a marvelous time on the island and at your condo that we are ready to go back! Your condo and its setting were absolutely marvelous. What a beautiful place. Thank you for allowing us to share your Hawaiian home, even if it was only for a few days. It was everything you said it would be including listening to the ocean waves' roar, watching the beautiful sunrises/sunsets, watching the sea turtles swim, snorkeling on the beach, enjoying the ocean views from all those windows, and so much more.
The condo was equipped with everything we needed and more. We left the unit clean and tidy - even laundered the towels we used.
The bedroom with the king bed was the room we chose to sleep in and the mattress was like none other that we have slept on. We were wondering if you could either send or email us the info on the mattress, as we are interested in purchasing one. My husband and I both have chronic back problems. The bed really made a difference in not only how we slept but how are backs felt the next day, so we are anxious for more information on the mattress specifications.
Enclosed is the unit key and we will watch for our $300 deposit to be returned.

| Mel and Pearl- I cannot tell you how much my family enjpyed Kauai and our stay at your condo.The 2nd nite my husband had to sleep on the pullout sofa sleeper with the screen door open to hear the breaking waves below your condo. How relaxing- I'm asking for a CD with such sounds. My husband and I were up every morning to enjoy our coffee with the sun rising. My son surfed and dove all day all over the island. We of course had to visit other beaches but came back to the beach by the condo. It had everything we enjoyed, including a sleeping Monk seal. My daughter who has travelled to London, Germany, Austria, Prague, Italy and the Bahamas said this is the best vacationthat she ever had. Your location is just perfect and the island is low key and not overly developed. Will be back. Just another satisfied family. |

Here is the key to #314. We left everything in good order. We had a great stay - we liked the condo! The weather cooperated and it was warm and sunny the whole time. The crib wasn't set up when we got there but we managed to find a tool in a kitchen drawer to put in together with. We took it down and put it away afterward also. I ran into Mr. Fernandez at one point and he started to mention the crib but I was being tugged away by my little granddaughter and we didn't get to finish our conversation! However, I thought that it probably didn't get set up because there wasn't room for it in the bedroom without the bathroom attached - so the "kids" ended up in that one. It all worked out well, anyway! We bought and left at the condo a couple of folding beach chairs for future guests.
Thanks very much, Mel - it was a pleasure dealing with you. We will recommend your condo to others! Season's Greetings!

Well, we returned to Denver yesterday to 14 inches of new fallen snow...back to the 'real world'.
Linda, Stacy and I had a great time at your condo (#315) last week. We had a good time watching the turtles frolic in the near surf and the whales spouting in the far waters. We even got up close (as close as allowed) to a Monk Seal at the beach. The weather was good and the food was great.

We just got back home to Oregon tonight. Our trip to Kauai was fantastic. Everyone, kids, Mom and Dad, Grandma and Grandpa, all enjoyed themselves tremendously. The location of the condo was perfect for what the kids wanted to do most - boogie board and swim. But the rest of the island was easily accessible too! The weather was fantastic. We certainly would think about returning again.
I will return the key and the parking permit in tomorrow's mail. FYI - We left you 2 new boogie boards and a few other odds and ends - to make up for any sand, and other stuff your housekeeper had to clean up.
Thank you again for your offer to let us stay a little later in the condo Wed. Our plane didn't leave for LA until 8:45 pm, so it gave us some clean-up and relaxing time.

It was quiet and relaxing, and we just couldn't get our fill of that view- and no place on the island had a better view for dining. The floor to ceiling glass made the view that much better. We found the unit clean and tastefully decorated, and everything that was needed to make our stay perfect was in the condo. It was a real treat to go to sleep listening to the waves. We would definitely recommend your place. We never saw a place that we would have enjoyed as much. In fact we spoke to a timeshare rep at the Embassy Resort, and the unit they showed us the "Presidential Suite" didn't have as good a view. I repeatedly told the salesman that yes, the suite was very nice, but I liked where I was staying. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the sea turtles everyday- I couldn't get my fill if them We were greatful for the dining recommendations you gave us. We went to Gaylords twice and found the food incredible. The snorkeling out in front of your unit was very good. Altogether- this was the first time that we booked a place over the internet, and I'm happy to say that it was a very positive experience for us.
